Transforming 160 years of London's underground history, The Old Vic Tunnels evolve into a weird and wonderful extravaganza with a fanciful combination of art, music and entertainment. The Old Vic Tunnels play host to an array of show stopping performers and old school thrilling fairground classics.
Freaky Fairground welcomes globally renowned British Club brand, Renaissance, to The Old Vic Tunnels with the very best DJs and acts for a series of exciting club nights and live events. Over the celebrations, Freaky Fairground will also play host, not only to a number of resident Renaissance DJs, but also an array of international DJs from around the globe.
The Freaky Entertainment
30,000 square feet of Victorian subterranean vaults, transformed into amaze of the amazing, a panoply of the preposterous, an uber outré underground homage to all things weird and wonderful. Every night will have a packed roster of traditional sideshow acts contemporised for a modern urban circus including:
· Sword Swallowers
· Burlesque and Fire Artists
· Snake Charmers and Dwarves
· Aerialists and Contortionists
· Martial Artists and Free Runners
· Extreme Performers
Fairground attractions will include:
· Coconut Shy
· Lazers/UV Lights
· Indoor Pyrotechnics
· Fortune Teller
· Strongman Striker
The Music

Freaky Fairground welcomes globally renowned British Club brand, Renaissance, to The Old Vic Tunnels, where it will be marking its 20th Anniversary year by bringing the very best DJs and acts for a series of exciting club nights and live events. Over the celebrations, Freaky Fairground will also play host not only to a number of resident Renaissance DJs, but also an array of international DJs from around the globe. There will also be Live Music from Local and World Class Artists, plus special guests and pop-up concerts throughout period.
Vintage Film Entertainment
Hammer House of Horrors
The Old Vic Tunnels screening room will play host to a programme of suitably chosen films and shorts including a special Hammer House of Horrors piece, which will provide gripping entertainment in the underground screening room with projecting’s of the vintage Hammer House of Horror series.
The Food
Food is also an intrinsic part of the evening, and both Koi of Kensington Sushi and Jack's Festival Fuel will be delighting and amazing you with a fabulous array of Japanese dishes and fairground food with an underground twist: Mrs Lovett's Pies, Moulin Rouge Crepes and of course candy floss, toffee apples and good old fashioned sweets.

There will be an amazing and lavish VIP area to pamper and prepare you for the madness within.
